Job summary
A leading engineering company in Madrid is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to define and optimize manufacturing processes for vehicle components and ensure their integration in the production environment. The ideal candidate should have a master's degree in a relevant field, 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, and strong teamwork skills. Join us to support the industrialization of new vehicle platforms and collaborate closely with design teams and suppliers.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
- Strong knowledge in vehicle components and systems.
- Experience in supplier quality management and process audits.

- Define and optimize manufacturing processes for vehicle components and systems.
- Ensure manufacturability and integration of vehicle domains (powertrain, body, etc.) within the production environment.
- Collaborate with design and architecture teams to align product design with manufacturing capabilities.
- Support industrialization and ramp-up of new vehicle platforms.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure component quality, process capability, and compliance with manufacturing standards.
- Drive supplier development and evaluate their manufacturing processes for continuous improvement.
- Manufacturing-duty vehicle components.
- Integration of vehicle domains in production systems.
- Design for manufacturability and assembly (DFMA) principles.
- Supplier quality management and process audits.
- Manufacturing process planning: Siemens Tecnomatix, Process Simulate, or similar.
- Requirements Management: Polarion, DOORS, or similar.
- Production line simulation and optimization: AnyLogic, FlexSim, or similar.
- Supplier collaboration platforms: SAP Ariba, SupplyOn, or similar.
- Mechanical / Automotive / Mechatronic / Electrical engineer or similar
- Master's degree in automotive / vehicle or similar
- Min. 3 years
