A leading engineering company in Madrid is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to define and optimize manufacturing processes for vehicle components and ensure their integration in the production environment. The ideal candidate should have a master's degree in a relevant field, 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, and strong teamwork skills. Join us to support the industrialization of new vehicle platforms and collaborate closely with design teams and suppliers.

Formación

  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
  • Strong knowledge in vehicle components and systems.
  • Experience in supplier quality management and process audits.

Manufacturing Engineers

Your Tasks
  • Define and optimize manufacturing processes for vehicle components and systems.
  • Ensure manufacturability and integration of vehicle domains (powertrain, body, etc.) within the production environment.
  • Collaborate with design and architecture teams to align product design with manufacturing capabilities.
  • Support industrialization and ramp-up of new vehicle platforms.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure component quality, process capability, and compliance with manufacturing standards.
  • Drive supplier development and evaluate their manufacturing processes for continuous improvement.
Knowledge
  • Manufacturing-duty vehicle components.
  • Integration of vehicle domains in production systems.
  • Design for manufacturability and assembly (DFMA) principles.
  • Supplier quality management and process audits.
Tools
  • Manufacturing process planning: Siemens Tecnomatix, Process Simulate, or similar.
  • Requirements Management: Polarion, DOORS, or similar.
  • Production line simulation and optimization: AnyLogic, FlexSim, or similar.
  • Supplier collaboration platforms: SAP Ariba, SupplyOn, or similar.
Studies
  • Mechanical / Automotive / Mechatronic / Electrical engineer or similar
