We are looking for a Backend Developer (PHP / Laravel) to join a fast-growing EdTech company that is building and scaling a next-generation course marketplace platform.

You’ll work closely with a small, collaborative tech team (2 backend + 2 frontend developers) under the guidance of the CTO, contributing to the development, optimization, and maintenance of the company’s core platform.

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using PHP / Laravel.
• Collaborate with the frontend team (JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML) to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Optimize and scale the platform’s architecture for performance and reliability.
• Integrate external services and APIs.
• Write clean, maintainable code with proper documentation and testing.
• Contribute ideas and technical improvements to the product roadmap.

• 3+ years of professional experience as a Backend Developer.
• Strong knowledge of PHP and Laravel.
• Good understanding of JavaScript / TypeScript / HTML (for collaboration with frontendli>
• Solid grasp of relational databases.
• Proficiency in English (B2–C1) and Spanish.
• Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working in small agile teams.

• Experience working with Microsoft Azure (DevOps, deployment, or cloud services).
• Familiarity with RESTful API design and scalable architectures.

• Technical interview with the CTO (skills and experience assessment).
