THE TEAM

The Cloud Operations team is dedicated to delivering around-the-clock support, providing 24x7x365 assistance to our global SaaS & Hosted customers. This pivotal business unit manages uptime, optimizes performance, and ensures high availability for all systems supporting our customers within SaaS and Hosted environments. Our operational landscape includes complex ecosystems with multi-tiered applications, microservices, containers, virtual servers, and large-scale SQL databases.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

We are seeking a Principal Cloud Network Security Architect with expertise in SaaS cloud operations, AWS networking and security, and regulatory compliance. This role involves designing and securing our cloud network infrastructure and aligning security strategies across teams. The ideal candidate is a technical leader, articulate, and experienced in pre-sales discussions on networking and security topics.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Cloud Network and Security Architecture: Design, implement, and optimize secure, scalable AWS network architectures for a high-performance SaaS environment.
2. Private Cloud and On-Prem Network and Security: Collaborate with customers to resolve complex communication challenges across heterogeneous networks, addressing issues related to networking, routing, VPN, and Layer 4-7 security filtering at various appliances.
3. Regulatory Compliance Leadership: Ensure security controls comply with SOC 2, NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, and other frameworks.
4. Advanced Security Technologies: Deploy and manage PAM, NGFW, WAF, IPS, and other security technologies to safeguard cloud infrastructure.
5. Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with DevOps, Compliance, and Product teams to promote security best practices and develop new processes.
6. Pre-Sales Security Consultation: Interact with customers to explain security architecture, best practices, and risk management during sales and onboarding.
7. Security Process Development: Define and improve security operations, incident response, and infrastructure-as-code security automation strategies.

WHAT IT TAKES

• Over 14 years of experience in networking and security, with strong AWS security expertise.
• SaaS cloud operations experience managing security and compliance at scale.
• More than 8 years in network security technologies (PAM, NGFW, WAF, IPS, SIEM).
• At least 6 years of deep knowledge in AWS networking (VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, Route 53, Global Accelerator) and security services (Security Hub, GuardDuty, Macie, WAF, Shield, IAM).
• Over 5 years of leading regulatory and compliance framework implementations (SOC 2, NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, ISO 27001).
• Minimum 5 years of Linux administration experience.
• Proven ability to develop processes, drive security strategies, and align initiatives across teams.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executives and customers.
• Pre-sales experience in security discussions is highly desirable.
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty, CISSP, CCSP, or equivalent are preferred.
