PDG Media is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join the team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a sales role, ideally in the food & beverage sector or for marketing agencies.
Specialty coffee knowledge or industry experience is a significant bonus. PDG Media is a specialist GTM & marketing agency in the F&B sector, focusing on specialty coffee.
We are part of the PDG Global media group, which includes trade publications such as Perfect Daily Grind & Coffee Intelligence, as well as the Producer & Roaster Forum.
In 2025, we will launch the Global Coffee Awards. We are offering two full-time, permanent roles for candidates based in Spain or elsewhere in Europe.
The role is primarily remote, with occasional in-person meetups.
The candidate should enjoy engaging with people daily, identifying business opportunities, and strategizing deal closures. You will manage the pipeline for our strategic project sales, including targeting customers, nurturing relationships, and closing deals.
Our current and former agency clients include brands like MTPak Coffee, Hardtank, Flo-Smart, and organizations such as Guatemalan Coffees, UKAid, and Adam Smith International.
You will work closely with the COO to drive new business growth and achieve revenue targets.
You must be comfortable communicating at all levels, understanding client needs, and relaying information to the team.
Responsibilities include working independently to meet revenue targets, pursuing new sales opportunities, maintaining client relationships, re-assessing customer profiles, negotiating renewals, coordinating with digital teams, upselling, collaborating with publishing teams, and updating leadership on sales progress.
