Software Engineer (m / f / d) Human Machine Interface, Qt / QML

• Software development for the Human Machine Interfaces - HMI displays of our construction machines as well as optimization and further development of existing HMI applications.
• Design and further development of a modular HMI software architecture, definition of interfaces and processes for HMI software engineering.
• Testing the HMI software using unit tests and automated GUI tests and supporting integration and system tests directly on the machine.
• Active exchange with our UI / UX developers and close collaboration within the team and across departments in all development phases.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE :

• Successfully completed studies in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering or a comparable qualification.
• Experience in the design and implementation of software for embedded HMI displays (C++, Qt / QML, Qt for MCU, Figma).
• Experience with embedded Linux systems (Yocto).
• Confident handling of software development tools and methods.
• Knowledge of automotive bus systems and communication protocols (CAN, J1939, CANopen, UDS) an advantage.
• Team spirit, good communication and comprehension skills, strong technical-physical basic understanding and analytical thinking skills.
• Creativity and enjoy developing innovative solutions.
• Knowledge of written and spoken English is an advantage.
