CETRA BASE is currently looking for several senior profiles with experience in EGNOS to be part of the EGNOS Engineering team.
The positions are based in Madrid.
Responsibilities
In order to ensure successful EGNOS Operations, the successful candidate will support EUSPA with:
EGNOS service performance: monitor the ESP activities ensuring that measures are in place to mitigate the risk of service performance degradation and, in case of service performance degradations,
ensuring that the ESP is doing its maximum to recover nominal performances
Anomaly management: support the anomaly management process, in particular when anomalies are linked with operations (incl. sites, shipment, ageing, obsolescence, etc.).
EGNOS maintenance: contribute to a smooth interface between the ESP and V2 Product Maintainer.
Deviations to the ESP applicable baseline: assess the acceptability of potential Requests for Deviations or Waivers to the ESP contract in relation with EGNOS operations (e.g. SLA, SoW, SECOPS, Sites baseline, LEO OP and MAINT...), potential Document Change Proposals raised by the ESP (e.g. DCP to the Service Provider Requirement Document), by contributing to the relevant Engineering Boards and/or Change Control Boards.
Coordination meetings: review the sections of the monthly Service Performance reports delivered by the ESP, including all KPIs linked with EGNOS operations. Participate to the monthly Service Performance Meetings.
Qualifications
~ University degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or Computer Science
~5+ years of experience in EGNOS
~5+ years of experience on a similar role
~ Excellent team worker
~ Ability to work in a multicultural team
~ Proficiency level in English, both written and spoken
~ Eligible for security clearance
~ Availability to travel within Europe
Security
In line with security requirements of the EU Space programme the candidate shall be a citizen of a European Union state.
This position requires the candidate to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
