Overview

About the Role: Our client, a US-based company, is looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join their team for a short-term project of 3 months. This role requires strong expertise in test automation, cloud-based testing environments, and collaboration with developers to build a reliable test pyramid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement test strategies, including risk assessment.
• Work with modern test automation tools (WebDriverIO, Selenium, Cucumber-js, Appium, Cypress, TestCafe, etc.).
• Build and maintain automated test suites in pipelines.
• Perform API testing and write E2E integration tests (Playwright, Supertest/Jest).
• Collaborate closely with developers to ensure coverage of the test pyramid.
• Work with cloud devices and browser providers.
• Configure and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines and generate test reports.
• Apply version control best practices (Git or similar).

Qualifications

• Proven experience in QA automation within Agile environments.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and API libraries.
• Strong understanding of building tests from unit level upward (test pyramid).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows.
• Strong English communication skills.
