With increasing commitments and anticipated growth, we are hiring engineers across several disciplines at both offices in Santander and Madrid, Spain. This specific role is for a Software Developer to join the team based in Madrid.

Responsibilities

The new colleague will be a multidisciplinary Software Developer able to deal with the development of different kinds of software, including data processing, data presentation, data acquisition, instrumentation drivers, and user interface. They will also ideally have a basic understanding of ground stations and be able to get up to speed quickly on a range of topics and tasks.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

If you know your communication protocols (TCP), inter-process communications, multithreading, SCM systems (e.g., SVN, GIT), remote programming (e.g., TCP / IP, VISA), GUI development frameworks (e.g., QT), SciPy ecosystem, Virtualisation Techniques, and Operating System : Linux, this could be just the role for you.

A degree in Electronics, Telecommunication, or Systems Engineering is required.

The teams design, test, and analyse using Python, C / C++, Java, SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL), and Matlab development tools.
