Social Media and Content Specialist – Spanish Market (Based in Barcelona and willing to travel)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the global social media manager to develop and localize a social media calendar aligned with Spanish market goals.
• Take ownership of the Spanish social media account execution, including scheduling, posting, and monitoring content performance across platforms.
• Partner with the creative team to ensure visually compelling and on-brand content across all social platforms.
• Innovate within the social space, finding new and exciting ways to engage customers via social media channels to drive awareness, conversation and community.
• Leverage data-driven insights to refine social media strategies, optimizing content for performance and engagement.
• Generate innovative campaign concepts to increase awareness, engagement and following.
• Work closely with the Spanish Marketing Manager and cross-functional teams to ensure social activations align with broader business objectives.
• Oversee daily engagement across social platforms, delivering timely, brand-aligned responses that foster community growth.

Content Creation & Management

• Develop and deliver engaging, high-quality content (social posts, stories, videos, interactive formats) for both paid and organic channels, tailored to the Spanish market. You will be the face of Impress Spain on our social channels.
• Collaborate on content briefs, scripting and reviewing, including the localization of global assets to ensure cultural relevance and brand alignment.
• Manage in-clinic content production alongside the medical team—capturing before-and-after cases, patient stories, and video/photo shoots. Ensure proper handling of patient agreements.
• Execute end-to-end content creation, including shooting and editing videos optimized for each platform.
• Build and maintain relationships with external content creators to manage scouting, briefing, coordination, and oversight of externally produced creatives.
• Capturing potential patients to become our ambassadors and generation of testimonials and audiovisual content with them.
• Stay ahead of cultural and digital trends to implement innovative content formats, challenges, and campaigns.

Who You Are

• Based in Barcelona and willing to travel occasionally
• You’re comfortable being the face of a brand: whether through past experiences as a content creator, TikTok creator, influencer, or by representing personal or professional projects on camera, you enjoy connecting with audiences in an authentic, engaging way.
• A creative storyteller with a deep understanding of social media dynamics, audience behavior, and platform-specific content strategies. Comfortable behind and in front of the camera.
• Experienced in social media presence, viral content creation, organic social media growth, UGC content creation, shooting, editing.
• A social-first thinker who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about pushing creative boundaries.
• Proactive and trend-savvy—you continuously seek new opportunities to activate audiences and elevate brand presence.
• Self-motivated and results-driven, with an unwavering commitment to delivering "Impressive" outcomes.
• A collaborative leader who leads by example and embraces a culture of continuous improvement. Never accept results lower than “Impressive”.

Your Experience

• Experience: 3+ years in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing, with a proven track record of delivering impactful campaigns.
• Expertise: Deep understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook) and emerging digital trends. Proven track record of creating engaging content, both behind and in front of the camera.
• Language Skills: Native-level Spanish and high proficiency in English (Catalan or additional languages are a plus!).
• Technical Skills: Proficient in content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut, Figma) and social media management platforms (e.g., Brandwatch).
• Creative Mindset: Strong eye for engaging content, with the ability to adapt strategies for different platforms and audiences.
