Descripción del empleo
About our Company:

Universal DX, Inc. is an international Company with a highly experienced team focused on cracking cancer’s code. Through our multi-omics and bioinformatics models, we have figured out how to read the disease’s signals in blood with high accuracy to detect cancer in its earliest stages. Starting with a colorectal cancer screening liquid biopsy test, we are building a multi‑cancer platform that can identify the unique DNA regions associated with different types of cancers.

The Opportunity:

As Senior People Operations, you will report to the HR Director and play a key role in ensuring the smooth execution and continuous improvement of People Operations processes across the organization.

You will be responsible for owning and scaling core HR operations across the employee lifecycle, partnering closely with HR, Finance, Legal, and Business leaders to ensure compliant, efficient, and employee‑centric processes in a multi‑country environment.

You will join a team that is passionate about building a strong, people‑first culture while supporting the development of innovative diagnostic solutions with a real impact on patients’ lives. This role offers the opportunity to bring structure, rigor, and operational excellence to a growing organization, where your work will directly enable teams to perform at their best.

At UDX, we aim to go beyond building a successful company—we strive to create an environment where people, processes, and purpose are aligned to support long‑term growth and a meaningful positive impact on society.

How you’ll contribute:
  • Ensure day‑to‑day compliance with labor laws, internal policies, and HR processes across the assigned regions, escalating risks and inconsistencies as needed.
  • Own and administer core People Operations processes across the employee lifecycle, including employment contracts, onboarding, changes, offboarding, payroll coordination, absenteeism, training actions, and benefits administration.
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and up‑to‑date employee records in the HRIS (Personio), ensuring data integrity, confidentiality, and audit readiness.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for employee HR‑related inquiries, providing clear guidance on policies, procedures, and administrative topics.
  • Support and manage employee benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and employee inquiries, in coordination with external providers.
  • Partner closely with internal stakeholders (HR, Finance, Legal, and Business Leaders) to ensure smooth execution of People Operations processes and effective issue resolution.
  • Support employee relations matters from an operational perspective, ensuring appropriate documentation, consistency, and escalation when required.
  • Contribute to the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of People Operations processes and HR projects, driving efficiency, scalability, and consistency across regions.
  • Prepare and deliver HR reports and analysis on key People metrics, ensuring accuracy and actionable insights.
  • Drive cross‑country alignment on HR operations topics, balancing global consistency with local regulatory requirements.
  • Support the Europe region in streamlining and standardizing HR processes, identifying gaps, proposing improvements, and ensuring local regulatory compliance is embedded.
What you’ll bring:
Required Experience
  • 5–7+ years of progressive experience in People Operations, HR Operations, or a similar HR generalist role, preferably in fast‑growing or international organizations.
  • Proven hands‑on experience managing end‑to‑end employee lifecycle processes (hiring support, onboarding, changes, offboarding).
  • Strong experience with HR operations across multiple geographies (US and EU preferred), including employment frameworks, local practices, and compliance considerations.
  • Solid background in HR policies and employee handbooks, including drafting, updating, and operationalizing people policies.
  • Experience working with HR systems and tools (HRIS, ATS, payroll providers, EORs), ensuring data accuracy and process efficiency.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with managers and leadership on operational HR topics, employee relations matters, and day‑to‑day people issues.
  • Proven track record of building, improving, and scaling HR processes in environments with limited structure or high growth.
  • Experience handling employee relations cases with discretion, sound judgment, and an understanding of risk and compliance.
  • High level of comfort operating in ambiguity, balancing priorities, and driving execution independently.
Why Now?

This is an exciting time to be at Universal DX. We are growing rapidly and starting our US operations by building up our team, starting our lab and business operations, and establishing strategic partnerships.

We are looking for passionate changemakers to be a part of our journey in this expansive time for us.
