Position summary

The Business Unit to align business objectives with employees and management. The role will require building partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and associates that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The HR Business Partner is expected to coach line managers and support them in developing successors and talent pipelines.
It is also expected that the HRBP has good knowledge of the Spanish labor law framework to support and provide necessary advice when needed. The HRBP will act as a liaison within the HR team to review, discuss, and support regulatory requirements.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Conducts regular meetings with respective business units
• Acts as a Change Management agent, supporting organizational/cultural changes.
• Acts as an Advisor, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
• Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues.
• Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with legal advisors as needed.
• Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
• Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
• Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
• Offers guidance on business unit organization changes, workforce planning, and succession planning.
• Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR team to develop solutions, programs, and policies.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
• Educational background: Human Resources Degree. Labor Law degree is a plus. MSc in Human Resource Management is appreciated.
• Experience: 5 to 7 years of professional experience as HRBP, resolving complex employee relations issues. Working knowledge of multiple HR practices, including compensation, employee relations, Diversity & Inclusion, Performance Management, and employment law.
• Specific knowledge and skills: Fluent in English and Spanish.
