Senior Calypso Consultant

We are seeking a Senior Calypso Consultant with functional experience in projects or services based on Nasdaq's Calypso software.

Knowledge and experience of at least 12 years:

• Environment configuration (Workflows, filters, domain values, task station, fixed data, market data, reports, definition of rules, etc.)
• Software platform in Calypso environments • Integration of Calypso with external tools/applications.
• Management, analysis and solution of incidents.
• Treasury knowledge desirable: o RF, MM, FX, OTC Derivatives and/or Collateral Products o Operations life cycle (contracting, confirmation, settlement, accounting, etc.)

The tasks to be performed are:

• Single service with MAPS clients.
• Monitoring of test environments and Production environment.
• Operational support to production and test environments: configuration, resolution of service requests, categorization and assignment of incidents, etc.
• Execution of test cases for operational tools.
• Design and implementation of operational procedures.
• Preparation of operational reports and statistics.
• Recurring tasks and operational procedures (accounting, mapping, etc.).
• Preparation and updating of functional specifications (including detailed functional specifications), as well as change management.

Functional design, including among others:

• Analysis of new functional requirements and detailed impact analysis.
• Functional advice on possible changes in ISO 20022 messaging, its impact and subsequent implementation.
• Functional configuration, preparation and execution of test cases in addition to non-regression tests, as well as their functional documentation.
• Functional tests: definition, execution, documentation and analysis of software acceptance tests to ensure correct processing of operations.
• Non-functional tests: definition, execution, documentation and analysis of volume and performance tests.
• Support for production and user environments: monitoring, diagnosis and resolution of incidents and requests from users and operational team, etc.
• Coordination, support and collaboration with the Bank of Spain.
• Involvement in projects for the implementation of new Central Banks on the MAPS platform.
• Involvement in updates to the software used on the MAPS platform (Calypso).
• Preparation of presentations

Requirements:

• Spanish Mandatory.
• Competence to work in English.
• Project in Madrid, on site at client.
