Senior AWS DevOps Engineer (Python and Splunk experience)

Location: Remote from Spain (an indefinite Spanish employment contract)

We are seeking a Senior DevOps / DevSecOps Engineer to join a high-performing global team focused on cloud automation and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have deep hands‑on experience in AWS environments and a passion for building scalable, secure, and automated infrastructure.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps or DevSecOps roles.
  • Strong hands‑on expertise with AWS services, infrastructure automation, and CI/CD tools.
  • Proven experience automating workflows with Splunk, Tines, MISP, and Python.
  • Working knowledge of SecOps principles and security automation (desired but not mandatory).
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills; comfortable working across time zones with U. S. -based teams.
  • Ability to adapt working hours to overlap with partial intersection with U. S. time zones from EU or LATAM locations.
Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure in AWS with a focus on automation and reliability.
  • Develop and enhance automation workflows and pipelines using Splunk, Tines, MISP, and Python.
  • Collaborate with U. S. -based Level 3 engineering teams to support deployment, monitoring, and incident response processes.
  • Contribute to DevSecOps practices by integrating security controls and observability into CI/CD and runtime environments.
  • Troubleshoot issues across cloud services, networks, and applications, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Continuously improve infrastructure reliability, scalability, and compliance posture through code‑driven solutions.
