Forming part of the Group Security Tech Support team, you will play a key role in supporting the installation handover and ongoing maintenance of physical and electronic security systems across JD Sports Fashion plc locations.
- Working hours: 39hours per week
In your day-to-day, you will:
- Ensure the efficient operation of the Security Tech Support Helpdesk and manage incoming emails and phone enquiries.
- Operate the out-of-hours support service on a rotating basis with the tech team.
- Liaise with the Projects team to guarantee timely completion of snagging tasks after installation handover.
- Maintain accurate tech support inventory sheets with selected contractors and ensure all usable security equipment is efficiently redeployed.
- Utilise remote access tools for alarm panels, CCTV and EAS systems to perform configuration changes and reduce external engineer callouts.
- Complete service checklists for all contracted engineer security system maintenance visits.
- Verify correct programming and configuration of all newly installed, replaced, or upgraded security equipment across JD sites.
- Liaise with maintenance engineers to ensure full completion of tasks and accurate data reporting before leaving site.
- Ensure proper use of the RT Ticket System and other internal software tools, closing maintenance issues within expected timelines.
- Verify that expenditure on additional security equipment is properly authorised.
- Support ad-hoc projects and any other tasks requested by the Group Security Installations & Tech Support Manager.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all company information and ensure documentation is securely handled and stored.

- Education in telecommunications or microcomputer systems and networks will be valued.
