This role is for a Scrum Master / IT Project Lead with delivery experience and technical expertise in building order management and trading applications for Relationship Managers and Clients.

YOUR CHALLENGE

People & Project Management

• Gather business and technical requirements, understand system impact, and document functional specifications, user stories, data mapping, migration, and reporting impact analysis.
• Collaborate closely with Application Responsible (ARs) and technical leads of various applications.
• Propose scalable, innovative solutions that mitigate operational and delivery risks.
• Lead system enhancements and defect analysis for projects.
• Translate highly technical issues for non-technical audiences.
• Work collaboratively with teams to achieve project goals.
• Apply Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Extreme Programming.
• Prepare documentation including User Requirements Specification, Functional Specification, and User Guides.
• Coordinate with users, internal teams, and vendors for project management, SIT, UAT, training, and releases.
• Ensure adherence to best practices like TDD, CI/CD, or DevOps.
• Manage change logs and escalate issues appropriately.
• Work with development and testing teams for requirement clarification, functional solutions, and data mapping.
• Manage internal and external stakeholders, including finance and business change teams, to drive IT delivery.
• Analyze requirements, estimate efforts, plan timelines, and monitor progress.
• Maintain clear communication and stakeholder involvement throughout project lifecycle.
• Review technical and architectural designs, enforce guidelines, and challenge the status quo.

Business Management

• Plan rollout activities with Product Owners and end users.
• Collaborate with Product Owners for stakeholder management and user training.

Regulatory & Risk Management

• Demonstrate values such as honesty, integrity, diligence, and fair dealing.
• Manage risks and issues proactively, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.

YOUR PROFILE

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to challenge requirements and build scalable solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including technical writing.
• Self-driven, motivated, and adaptable to work independently or in teams.
• High standards for service quality and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 10 years of IT delivery experience in the banking domain with technical expertise.
• Experience designing technical solutions for order management, trading, and market systems.
• Experience leading requirement and impact analysis for large projects.
• Strong computer science foundation (algorithms, data structures, object-oriented design).
• Experience with SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in Java, web services, and related development tools (IntelliJ, Git, SonarQube).
