Smadex, founded in Barcelona in 2011 and acquired by Entravision in 2018, is a top mobile ad-tech company known for transparent platform management, programmatic features, and machine learning algorithms.

This is a hybrid, full-time position based in Barcelona.

We seek an experienced Salesforce Platform Owner (Senior Admin / Technical Architect) to lead the design, setup, and management of a dedicated Salesforce instance for Entravision Ad Tech Services.

You will report directly to the VP of Operational Strategy and collaborate with the US-based technical team to ensure smooth implementation and scalability. The ideal candidate is a technical leader capable of building, running, and evolving a Salesforce environment with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities:

  1. Salesforce Platform Ownership:
  • Set up and maintain Salesforce Sales & Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud sites.
  • Design and maintain scalable data models.
  • Define security policies using roles, profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules.
  • Lead UI/UX design, Lightning components, and automations.
  • Implement new Salesforce features and platform capabilities.
  • Automation & Optimization:
    • Build process automations using Flow and other declarative tools.
    • Implement validation rules, formula fields, and error handling.
    • Review and improve system usability, performance, and governance.
    • Ensure compliance with Salesforce best practices and audit standards.
  • Reporting & Integration:
    • Create and manage reports and dashboards.
    • Support integrations via Workato with marketing platforms, financial systems (e.g., NetSuite), and data pipelines.
    • Collaborate with BI teams for data quality and reporting.
  • Cross-Team Technical Alignment:
    • Work with the US Salesforce engineering team during onboarding.
    • Coordinate with internal PMO and operational teams to align delivery with business priorities.
    • Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing.

    Requirements:

    • 6-8 years of hands-on Salesforce experience, including at least one full-cycle org implementation.
    • Proven ability to architect complex Salesforce setups independently.
    • Strong skills in declarative features: Flows, reports, Lightning Builder, permission sets, sharing.
    • Experience with Apex, LWC, REST/SOAP APIs, iPaaS tools (Workato preferred), and performance tuning.
    • Ability to manage priorities, deliver in sprints, and scale systems sustainably.
    • Experience in ad tech, digital media, or marketing tech is preferred.
    • Salesforce Certified Administrator required; additional certs (Platform App Builder, Developer, Architect) are a plus.
    • Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus.
