Formación

• 7+ years of relevant accounting experience, including 4+ years in a Big 4 firm.
• Strong knowledge of group accounting policies, tax requirements, and internal controls.
• Experience with US GAAP and SOX compliance is an advantage.

Overview

DayOne is a global leader in building and operating high-performance data centers. We’re looking for a Regional Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team in Madrid, Spain.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the full spectrum of finance responsibilities, including month-end close, financial and management reporting, forecasting, and budget support.
• Manage the claims process for reimbursements.
• Prepare tax returns and corporate tax filings.
• Partner with outsource providers, auditors, and tax agents to ensure compliance with local accounting standards, statutory, and tax requirements.
• Continuously improve processes and strengthen compliance with statutory and group policies.
• Support ad-hoc finance projects as needed.

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent, plus CA / CPA / ACCA or similar certification.
• 7+ years of relevant accounting experience, including 4+ years in a Big 4 firm.
• Strong knowledge of group accounting policies, tax requirements, and internal controls.
• Experience with US GAAP and SOX compliance is an advantage.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA preferred.
• Excellent English skills (spoken & written). Spanish or Finnish is a plus.
