Formación

Electrical Product Support Engineer

Location: Based in Barcelona with regular international travel
Department: R&D – Product Support
Reports to: R&D Manager

About the Role:
Join the global leader in airport logistics as an Electrical Project Support Engineer and help deliver mission-critical technology to international airports. You will act as the bridge between R&D and operational environments, ensuring our innovative electrical systems perform reliably from factory to field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support during electrical installations, commissioning, and validation of new systems
  • Interpret wiring diagrams, control system schematics, and safety circuits for factory and field teams
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues with panels, sensors, drives, and power systems on-site
  • Act as a technical interface between electrical designers and field or production stakeholders
  • Assist with compliance documentation, test plans, and regulatory checks
  • Contribute to design reviews and feedback loops based on field experience

Requirements:

  • BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
  • 4–8 years of experience in automation, equipment design, or electrical commissioning
  • Hands-on experience with panel building, electrical installation, and testing
  • Familiarity with low voltage systems, drives, sensors, and machine safety standards
  • Ability to travel internationally (~10%) and work independently under pressure
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
