Overview

Public Relations Junior Account Executive at Canela | B Corp. We are looking for a communication professional with around 1-2 years of experience in a PR agency and preferably having worked with consumer tech, lifestyle and B2B accounts for local and international clients. This role is based in Madrid and reports to the Account Manager. The team is Madrid-based with remote / hybrid work expectations.

Responsibilities

• Delivering strategic communication and counsel to clients
• Writing and translating content
• Pitching media, organizing media encounters and supporting events
• Generating and maintaining media and influencer contacts
• Overseeing the account assistants in product inventories (clarify scope as needed)
• Accurate tracking of client out-of-pocket expenses
• Actively participating in new business activity

Experience required

• Around 1-2 years experience in a PR agency (mandatory)
• Previous contact with media and influencers; social media experience is a plus
• Knowledge of current trends in marketing communications
• Collaborative problem-solving approach
• Experience presenting in public
• Ability to write and translate materials accurately
• Fully competent in Microsoft Office
• Bilingual in Spanish and English; Catalan would be a plus
