A leading company is seeking an experienced Project Director/Resident Engineer for a mega infrastructure project in Saudi Arabia. The role requires over 25 years of experience in large-scale projects and strong leadership in project management across all phases. Candidates with a background in civil, structural, or mechanical engineering and PMP credentials are preferred to drive project success.

Contract Type: 3 years full time contract under Intertek KSA (Expat contract )

Intertek is proud to support one of the most iconic infrastructure programs in the region—headed by the Public Investment Fund (PIF) of Saudi Arabia. We are looking for an experienced Project Director / Resident Engineer to lead with precision and authority across every project phase.

Western nationalities are highly preferred.

Your Expertise:

• 25+ years of experience in mega/giga projects (> $1B), including high-rise, bridges, oil & gas
• ️ Demonstrated leadership in structural steel projects exceeding 100,000 MT
• Full-cycle project management: design, procurement, fabrication, logistics, erection
• In-depth knowledge of FIDIC contract suite (White Book essential)
• Oversight of global & regional vendors, ensuring alignment with all codes and standards
• Proficiency in QA/QC, QMS, and process implementation
• Interface confidently with government stakeholders, GIGA PMs, and regulatory authorities
• BSc or MSc in Civil/Structural/Mechanical Engineering or Project Management
• PMP or Chartered Engineer (or equivalent professional credential)
• Familiarity with ESG compliance, digital tools, and BIM platforms
