A leading biotechnology firm in Madrid is seeking a Product Manager to leverage NGS expertise and collaborate with cross-functional teams. You will drive product success by preparing product launches, maintaining market data, and creating marketing materials. The ideal candidate has a degree in Biology or related fields, 2–3 years of relevant experience, and is bilingual in Spanish and English.

Formación

  • 2–3 years experience in Research / Health Care Sector / IVD Industry.
  • Background as a molecular biology scientist using NGS.
  • Specific training in Marketing or Sales is valuable.

Responsabilidades

  • Prepare the launch of new products including market research and competition analysis.
  • Maintain contact with companies, communicating forecasts and addressing technical issues.
  • Keep data updated in the computer system (SAP).
  • Prepare necessary marketing materials and documents.

Overview

The Product Manager must leverage scientific and practical NGS expertise to ensure the achievement of the objectives set for the Business Unit. It is fundamental to collaborate with cross-functional teams to position solutions, expand the market share of our NGS solutions, shape strategy, navigate regulatory landscapes, and drive product success.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare the launch of new products: market research, positioning, competition, publications, and value proposition.
  • Maintain constant contact with represented companies, communicating forecasts, technical issues, incidents, and product information. Hold regular follow-up meetings and attend Distributor’s trainings.
  • Stay updated on the market needs and the competitor’s analysis.
  • Provide the commercial network with the necessary arguments to counter objections from competitors and customers based on the value-selling method adequately.
  • Prepare the necessary marketing material: brochures, catalogs, and presentations.
  • Prepare product information necessary for each case, such as product registrations, technical data sheets, safety files, inserts, and anything else mandatory.
  • Prepare and participate in Workshops, Congresses, Scientific Sessions, and other events.
  • Encourage the evaluation of products to generate scientific articles.
  • Participate in the preparation of the tenders, writing the technical part, in collaboration with the Sales Application Specialist and tenders department.
  • Keep all the data in the computer system (SAP) up to date to guarantee the reliability of the ZGP.
Qualifications
  • Education: A University Degree in Biology / Chemistry / Biotechnology is desirable; focus on Molecular Biology and Genetics.
  • Experience: With a background as a molecular biology scientist and using NGS on a recurrent basis for research projects. Having worked as a field application specialist on NGS solutions is highly valuable.
  • Additional Skills / Knowledge: Language: Spanish and English. Valuable assets: Specific training in Marketing or Sales. 2–3 minimum years experience in Research / Health Care Sector / IVD Industry or practical experience and knowledge in NGS are mandatory. Experience in the transplant market would be desirable.
