About the Role

An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced CRM & Marketing Automation Product Owner who is passionate about data-driven marketing, customer engagement, and loyalty innovation. The selected candidate will take on a central role in shaping next-generation loyalty programs for leading European retail brands.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this position combines strategic ownership and hands‑on execution, overseeing the roadmap of marketing automation initiatives across multiple markets. The role involves close collaboration with business, data, and technology teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences powered by advanced Martech ecosystems.

This is a hybrid position, offering the ideal mix of remote flexibility and in‑office collaboration in the heart of Barcelona.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary expert for CRM and Marketing Automation, serving as the go‑to authority on Martech strategy.
  • Define and manage the end‑to‑end roadmap for automation and engagement initiatives across European brands.
  • Lead a cross‑functional team of technical specialists and campaign execution experts to deliver marketing journeys, automations, and customer flows.
  • Partner with other Product Owners and senior leadership to prioritize features, refine backlogs, and align business and technical objectives.
  • Oversee the design of reusable audience segments, journeys, and workflows that enhance customer engagement and retention.
  • Promote adoption and effective use of Martech platforms, including CRM, CDP, and analytics tools, while guiding technical decisions.
  • Represent Martech in strategic sessions, demos, and planning workshops, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Collaborate with international stakeholders including legal, data, IT, and security teams to ensure compliance and localisation.
  • Monitor performance, analyse insights, and drive continuous optimisation for engagement and conversion.
  • Build a test‑and‑learn culture, enabling experimentation and measurable growth across markets.
  • Mentor and develop the team, encouraging collaboration, autonomy, and alignment with the product vision.
Your Profile
  • 5+ years of experience in CRM, Marketing Automation, or Martech, ideally within digital product environments.
  • Deep understanding of customer data models, segmentation, and journey orchestration.
  • Proven experience leading compact, agile, cross‑functional teams and delivering at scale.
  • Skilled in stakeholder management, with a record of aligning multiple departments toward shared objectives.
  • Strong balance between strategic thinking and operational execution.
  • Analytical mindset with experience interpreting data insights and campaign performance.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Spanish; other European languages are an advantage.
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid setup, with regular collaboration at the Barcelona office.
  • Prior experience in multinational or loyalty‑focused B2C organisations is highly valued.
