VHIR offers a vacant position for a Pediatrician or Pediatric Surgeon with a special interest in Pediatric Rare Diseases within the Group Hepato-bilio-pancreatic Surgery (HBP) and Liver Transplantation.

The Group of Hepato-bilio-pancreatic Surgery (HBP) and Liver Transplantation offers a contract to work on hepatic rare diseases in children.

Education and Qualifications:

Required:

• University degree in Health Science preferred.
• High academic records.
• Excellent written and oral communication in Catalan, Spanish, and English.

Experience and Knowledge:

Required:

• Moderate to high knowledge of statistics.
• Previous knowledge in networks.
• High motivation for a research career.
• Ability to work in a team, with responsibility and commitment to the work.

Main Responsibilities and Duties:

• The candidate will carry out experiment design, experimental work, results analysis, and article writing in the context of a research group on hepatic rare diseases in children.
• Participation in the teaching activities of the group.

Labour Conditions:

• Part-time position: 20h/week.
• Starting date: October 2025.
• Gross salary: €15,705.29 (Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale).
• Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities.
