Job Description

Turner & Townsend is an independent professional services company specialising in programme management, project management, cost and commercial management and advisory across the real estate, infrastructure and natural resources sectors.

Due to continued growth in our Madrid office, our Project Management team in Madrid is looking to appoint a Junior Project Manager to work on exciting Life Sciences projects.

• Assist the Project Manager in establishing overall success criteria for the project, including time, cost, technical and performance parameters of major construction projects.
• Assist in planning the ongoing management of quality, safety, health and environment issues.
• Assist in establishing effective project governance, processes and systems to be utilised throughout the project.
• Monitor and document project progress and other performance indicators.
• Track and document changes.
• Prepare written project communication materials.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Life Sciences, Architecture, or Construction Management.
• Construction consultancy experience strongly preferred.
• Understanding of the project life cycle.
• Knowledge and experience of all major project management concepts, tools and techniques.
• Design, management or construction experience gained within the general construction environment, ideally public sector.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
