IT / OT Support Engineer - Spanish Gateways

Location: Barcelona, Spain

Contract: Full-time, On-site (Monday to Friday, 6:00 - 20:30 shifts)

About the Role

Are you passionate about technology and operational excellence? Join APM Terminals as an IT / OT Support Engineer and play a key role in ensuring the health and performance of our IT and OT infrastructure. You'll be the go-to expert for hands‑on support, maintenance, and troubleshooting across a dynamic terminal environment.

What You'll Do

• Provide end‑user support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and Office applications.
• Maintain and troubleshoot local IT infrastructure: datacenter racks, cabling, network, and server equipment.
• Support IT / OT systems such as CCTV, biometric readers, OCR equipment, and Vehicle Mounted Terminals.
• Assist with incident resolution and change implementation within agreed SLAs.
• Contribute to IT projects: upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
• Perform routine maintenance and ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards.
• Collaborate with regional and global teams for hands‑on support and knowledge sharing.

What We're Looking For

• Degree in IT Engineering or Telecommunications.
• Knowledge of VMWare, networking, and communications (CISCO certification is a plus).
• Familiarity with ITIL processes (certification preferred).
• Strong English communication skills (verbal and written).
• Hands‑on, proactive, and solution‑oriented mindset.
