Descripción del empleo

Senior HR Business Partner – Commercial Role:

Full-time, permanent

Location: Barcelona, Spain

Salary:

The Role: We’re seeking a personable and pragmatic Senior HR Business Partner to proactively support a varied client group (predominantly Commercial) across our Iberia cluster (c. 120 employees), providing best practice HR support, coaching and guidance, whilst promoting high performance working across the business. Working in partnership with Line Managers and Senior Management Teams, you’ll take time to gain a comprehensive understanding of their departments (how they work, the challenges and opportunities) and use your insight to build strong working relationships and credibility with your stakeholders. Supporting the full HR lifecycle, you’ll act as the critical ally for your client group, providing a practical HR service (in-line with Company policies, objectives and employment legislation) to facilitate the smooth implementation of our people plans and processes, and take quick action / engage in direct conversations to mitigate problems before they manifest. Drawing on your broad HR experience, you’ll adapt quickly to day-to-day issues (e.g. investigations, performance and case management), balancing flexibility with professional boundaries to resolve situations resourcefully, yet compliantly. You’ll also work closely with our Centres of Excellence on key projects (e.g. resourcing campaigns, L&D initiatives), and equip your managers with appropriate tools and knowledge to foster a positive employee relations environment. You’ll also have the opportunity to work on a broad range of HR continuous improvement projects.

The Person: Significant experience in a similar fast-paced senior HRBP role, with a broad generalist HR skillset and experience supporting a range of day-to-day issues, case management and HR projects. Experience of working in a matrix environment within an international / global organisation. Experience working in a highly regulated environment (e.g. food, pharma, finance) with an appreciation of operating within specified parameters or a compliance framework. Experience supporting Commercial groups, with field sales employees; strong understanding of their motivations, how they work, and the ability to think creatively about HR approaches. Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) – able to relate to people of all backgrounds confidently, build trust and credibility with ease. Confident to diplomatically push back and explain the ‘why’ to uphold professional standards, pragmatically minimize risk and influence outcomes / change. Keen eye for detail, methodical approach to work, with good literacy, numeracy and IT skills. Ethical, approachable and balanced – driven to maintain high levels of professional integrity. A HR degree or equivalent qualification is desirable. Spanish, Catalan and English language required.

How to Apply: If you have the experience, passion and ability to make this role a success then we would love to hear from you. Please apply using the apply button, sending your CV with a covering letter or for more information contact, by 27th April 2025.
