Formación

  • Experience in a senior finance role, preferably from a creative services background.
  • Able to effectively communicate financial information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • An all-rounder, capable of presenting in a boardroom and handling invoices.

Award winning, PE backed Creative Production company based in Barcelona are looking for their first in house FD/Head of Finance. As Head of Finance you will be looked upon to update finance systems and processes in line with Group requirements while managing the day-to-day finances. You will also provide strategic financial insight at board level and assist in commercial decision making.

The role will report to the MD with a dotted line into the Group CFO (based in London) and would ideally be suited to someone looking for a 3-4 day part time role. They will also consider a full time FC or Finance Manager with strong commercial acumen.

The Role - Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Managing the company's finances, including managing accounts, budgets, and cash flow.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Preparing and presenting financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, as well as budgets and forecasts.
  • Cash Flow Management: Overseeing and optimizing cash flow, ensuring adequate funding for operations and investments.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Creating and managing budgets and forecasts, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), and providing financial analysis to support decision-making.
  • Financial Strategy and Planning: Developing and implementing financial strategies, policies, and procedures to support the company's growth and goals and PE investor expectations.
  • Tax Planning and Compliance: Ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, managing tax liabilities, and advising on tax planning strategies.
  • Liaison with Stakeholders: Communicating with and collaborating with other departments, management, investors, and external parties on financial matters.
The Person - Skills and experience required
  • Experience in a senior finance role, preferably from a creative services background
  • Able to effectively communicate financial information to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • An all rounder - as happy presenting in a board room as inputting purchase and sales invoices!
