A pharmaceutical company located in Madrid is seeking a Global Head of Demand Planning to lead global demand planning and orchestrate the end-to-end S&OP process. The role requires at least 5-7 years of leadership in demand planning within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry. Candidates should hold a relevant Bachelor's degree, preferably with a Master's or certification. Fluency in Spanish and English is essential, with proficiency in SAP and demand planning software. The Global Head of Demand Planning is responsible for leading the global demand planning function and orchestrating the end-to-end Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process across all markets. This role ensures accurate forecasting, close coordination with Supply Planning and Operations looking for optimal inventory levels. Alignment between commercial, supply chain, and finance teams to support strategic decision‑making and operational excellence.

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
Master's degree or specialized certification preferred.
In-depth knowledge and hands‑on experience in demand planning, forecasting, and S&OP within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
Proficiency in demand planning software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and other relevant analytical tools (SAP).
Strong knowledge of planning systems (e.g., SAP IBP, APO, OMP, Kinaxis).
Fluent in Spanish and English (3rd European language a plus).
