About the role

We are looking for a committed English to Spanish (Spain) freelance translator to collaborate on an as-needed basis for various localization projects.

This is a freelance position working remotely with no fixed hours but with the purpose of establishing a long-term collaboration with the right candidate for ongoing projects.

Responsibilities

• Translate and localize content from English to Spanish (Spain) ensuring linguistic accuracy.
• Maintain consistency in tone style and terminology across all materials.
• Ensure the product\'s final quality.
• Review and proofread materials when necessary.
• Perform QA on specific projects when necessary.

Requirements

• Native level of Spanish (Spain)
• Excellent command of English with a deep understanding of cultural and linguistic nuances.
• Strong attention to detail spelling and grammar.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality and consistent work.
• Previous experience in localizing educational or eLearning based content is a plus.
• Additional knowledge of UI / UX translation is also a plus.
