To support this growth, we are hiring a Lead Recruiter to join a dynamic team in our Barcelona office and continue building a world-class, creative organization by finding the best talent for our incredible culture.
What You’ll Do
1. Recruitment Strategy & Planning (Europe)
- Define and lead the recruitment strategy to support our European hiring roadmap across all European Brands.
- Partner closely with Leadership and Hiring Managers to have an engaging, effective interview process that exhibits our culture of fun, focus, energy, trust, and relationships!
- Act as a strategic advisor to hiring managers: role scoping, market insights, sourcing strategy, decision-making.
- Track, analyze and present hiring KPIs to management and Boats Group HR leadership.
2. Team Leadership
- Manage and develop Talent Acquisition Specialists or Recruitment Partners.
- Prioritize workloads, develop skills, and foster a culture of collaboration and ownership.
3. Process Excellence & Candidate Experience
- Build a memorable and rewarding recruiting experience for candidates and hiring managers alike through creative sourcing, effective selection, and solid offer packages.
- Standardize and optimize recruitment processes to ensure fairness, speed and consistency across countries.
- Ensure effective use of our ATS and maintain structured, reliable data.
- Develop and roll out clear evaluation frameworks (scorecards, interview guidelines, case studies).
4. Recruitment Delivery & Talent Sourcing
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for strategic and senior roles in Europe.
- Lead onboarding processes and orientations for new hires.
- Build proactive sourcing strategies (talent pools, referrals, events, networks).
5. Employer Branding & Talent Community
- Contribute to employer branding initiatives across Europe in partnership with People and Marketing teams.
- Strengthen relationships with universities, bootcamps, communities and industry networks.
What You’ll Bring
- 6+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting in the technology industry, ideally in a scale-up marketplace, to support various departments in the company.
- Proven ability to recruit for multiple markets and across different job families (business, tech, operations, support).
- Experience with ATS development and system management highly preferred
- A passion for collaboration and shared results with the team
- Analytical, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.
- Professional decorum in dealing with employees at all levels and the ability to represent the company at all times during the recruiting and employment process
- Fluent in English (our working language). French or Spanish is a strong plus
- Any additional HR experience in a generalist role is desired for career development
- Strong attention to detail to allow the recruiting experience to be seamless and memorable and reflective of our company culture
