We are looking for an EMEA Product Manager to strengthen our business through an integrated and strategic management of our variety portfolio across Europe.
This role connects three key pillars — Market, R&D and Plant Material Assurance — ensuring alignment between product needs, innovation pipeline and reliable plant material supply. The position goes beyond traditional product marketing, driving varietal planning, segment strategy and long-term portfolio continuity to support sustainable growth and competitive positioning across EMEA.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the varietal assortment across EMEA, ensuring full segment coverage and long-term pipeline structure aligned with Market, R&D and Plant Material Assurance.
- Structure and prioritize varietal plans (entry, advancement and phase-out) and coordinate plant material availability, avoiding shortages during launches.
- Chair cross-functional Regional Tactical Teams (Sales, R&D, Planning, Operations, Marketing) to anticipate risks, align decisions and coordinate pipeline-to-market execution.
- Define product positioning and pricing proposals, supporting Sales with technical expertise, value messages, field days and participation in key visits and events.
- Develop clear success messages and go-to-market readiness for each variety and region to ensure fast adoption and strong market impact across EMEA.
Profile requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Agronomy or Plant Science (required).
- Master’s degree in Business, Marketing or Product Management (preferred).
- Training in BI, data analysis or project management is a plus.
Experience
- 5–10 years of experience in product management, commercial or technical roles, preferably within agriculture or related sectors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to convert market and technical data into actionable business insights.
- Proven organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong influence and collaboration skills to lead multifunctional teams without direct reporting lines.
- Previous exposure to berries, horticulture or plant propagation is a strong advantage.
Languages
- Spanish (highly valued).
- Any additional EMEA language (French, German, Dutch, etc. ) is a plus.
Additional requirements
- Strong digital skills, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and comfort working with data analysis tools, dashboards and CRM/ERP environments.
- Willingness to travel approximately 30% across the EMEA region (field visits, events and internal cross-functional sessions).
- High visibility role with frequent representation of the company alongside the commercial team during events, customer presentations and technical visits.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international and multicultural environment, with flexibility to adapt to seasonal peaks.
- Availability to travel domestically and internationally within the EMEA region.
