A leading technology solutions company in Spain is looking for a Privacy & Data Protection Counsel to support strategic and daily operations. The role is 100% remote with a flexible timetable, and offers a vibrant team atmosphere. The ideal candidate will have a law degree and at least 3 years of experience in privacy and data compliance, with strong knowledge of digital laws. • Experience in data protection regulations in jurisdictions like Portugal, Argentina, or Brazil.
• Knowledge of Portuguese is an advantage.

You will join us as a Privacy and Data Protection Counsel, and your main mission will be to support strategy and daily operations in an international environment.

What You Will Do

• Implementation of processes and controls.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to navigate complex legal and regulatory landscapes.
• Review and help the team with PIAs, PEIAs, LIAs and TIAs.
• Advise on international privacy, data protection and AI laws.
• Prepare reporting.
• Support with incident handling and data subject requests.
• Promote a culture of privacy awareness through engaging training sessions.

What You Bring

• Degree in Law.
• Proven experience of at least 3 years in privacy, data protection, and digital compliance.
• Strong knowledge in digital laws and standards such as AI.
• Experience in data protection regulations in any of the following jurisdictions: Portugal, Argentina, Brasil, México, Colombia or Chile.
• Good verbal and written English and Spanish.
• Knowledge of Portuguese is an advantage.
