Position Overview
Due to our rapid growth, we are looking to add a senior consultant to our team. Reporting to the Operations Department manager, this role will support decarbonization projects for companies.
The position is remote, with presence required in Madrid. Immediate start available.
Responsibilities
- Advising clients on needs identification and analysis.
- Designing and monitoring decarbonization plans.
- Calculating and establishing Science-Based Targets (SBT) and Net-Zero Goals.
- Identifying climate-related risks and opportunities; impact analysis and evaluation.
- Designing and tracking emission offset strategies to achieve 'Net Zero'.
- Supporting companies with CDP reporting.
- Studying and presenting proposals.
- Calculating corporate and product / service carbon footprints; supporting clients during audits and corrective action planning.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of sustainability and climate change issues.
- Experience or knowledge of carbon accounting standards and tools.
- Experience or knowledge in setting emission reduction plans and targets.
- Experience or knowledge in CDP reporting framework.
- Advanced data handling skills and proficiency in Excel.
- Valuable knowledge of TCFD recommendations and corporate sustainability strategies.
- English proficiency at minimum B2 level.
- Autonomy, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication skills for reports and proposals, organizational skills, attention to detail, practical approach, and customer focus.
- University degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or related fields; Master's, Postgraduate, or relevant certifications are a plus.
