You Will:
Work closely with the Operations team (Managers, Director, VP) leading and being the contact person on any automation, data and workflow improvements or tool (DMI, BPM) efficiencies projects.; from the AME team side.
Monitoring Project Outcomes: Regularly tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics related to closed projects to assess their ongoing effectiveness and impact on AME operations.
Gathering Feedback: Collecting feedback from AME team members who utilize the implemented automations, data solutions, and workflow improvements to identify any issues, challenges, or areas for enhancement and raise them to the Operations team.
Addressing Post-Implementation Issues: Serving as the primary point of contact for any questions, concerns, or issues that arise after project completion, coordinating with relevant teams (e.g., Operations team, Tech team…) to resolve them promptly.
Identifying Optimization Opportunities: Analyzing project outcomes and user feedback to identify opportunities for further automation, optimization, refinement, or expansion of existing solutions, and proposing these to the relevant stakeholders.
Maintaining New Workflows and Tools Expertise and Documentation: Ensuring that all workflow and tools documentation, like user guides, or any support information, is up-to-date and easily accessible to the AME team.
Documenting Lessons Learned: In coordination with Operations team, compiling and documenting lessons learned from AME perspective, for each closed project, including successes, challenges, and areas for improvement, to inform future initiatives.
Work closely with Managers and Director, Adverse Media Entities, along with Standards Specialists, to make sure that the R&C Entities Shared Editorial Guidelines and AME Guidelines are up to date.
Work closely with the V.P. Data Strategy, Senior Director Strategic Client Advisory, Standards team and Director, Adverse Media Entities in client requests, AME category definition analysis/clarification, Legal Queries, etc. where deeper knowledge is needed.
Be the point of contact for Adverse Media Entities in relation to AME categories definitions and lead any revision or team’s cohesion efforts related to them.
Assisting the Client Advisory team, Adverse Media Entities and Adverse Media Entities team to resolve Salesforce queries accurately and in a timely manner.
Create and update profiles of companies with adverse media (Adverse Media Entities - AME) by continually monitoring and analysing relevant publicly available sources including corporate registries, government websites and data on Dow Jones owned products.
Write due diligence reports on companies and/or individuals as required and contribute to other projects.
Collaborate and engage with other departments and support the Director to drive key business initiatives and decisions.
You Have:
Fluency in English and at least one of the European languages
At least 5 years of experience of Adverse Media Entities content
Proofreading skills and experience in handling large volumes of information
Experience managing a team or leading a project
Experience explaining data or processes and handling complex clients’ queries
Sound decision-making and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication
Interpersonal, leadership and coaching skills
An openness to different views and appreciation of team diversity
Preferred:
Experience as a professional researcher or analyst
Knowledge of and interest in current affairs and anti-money laundering regulations
Automation skills, such as advanced knowledge of Excel, Macros/VBA programming, Python, HTML and/or SQL
Education to a degree level or relevant experience
