We seek a Laboratory Technician to join the Tumor Biomarkers Team, led by Josep Villanueva, in the Proteomics Group of VHIO. The main goal of the laboratory is to characterize the mechanisms adopted by cancer cells to communicate amongst themselves as well as with their microenvironment during tumorigenesis and exploit these data to advance biomarker and drug target discovery.
We are seeking an organized, motivated and team-oriented individual. The successful candidate will join the scientific team supporting the development of new small-molecule drugs for triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) therapy. The project involves a comprehensive workflow that integrates in silico, in vitro, and in vivo studies, with the ultimate goal of advancing promising candidates toward clinical application.
