As Team Leader Transportation at DP World High Tech in Niederaula, you are the expert for the coordination and efficient management of our line and transport network.

About The Role

How you will contribute

• Operational responsibility for the company's own long-distance fleet, as well as the NV disposition
• Coordination and control of the company's internal line network in cooperation with the fixed freight carrier
• Examination of offers, negotiation and control of the purchase of additional cargo space for national and international transports
• Continuous monitoring, analysis and optimization of process flows, fleet utilization and departmental results
• Personnel management and personnel deployment planning
• Support of the team in daily business
• Troubleshooting, processing of clarification cases and order monitoring in scheduled and long-distance transport.
• Ensuring compliance with legal requirements regarding driving and rest times as well as load securing
• Creation and evaluation of regular KPIs
  
  

Your Key Qualifications

• Completed commercial training in the field of freight forwarding and logistics services or a comparable qualification
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in the field of long-distance or local transport scheduling
• Experience in personnel management is mandatory
• Experience in the field of full and part loads
• Willingness to work in a two-shift system
• Confident handling of MS Office applications
• You have a high degree of team spirit and communicate clearly, appreciatively and purposefully - both internally and externally.
• You think for yourself, recognize the need for action at an early stage and provide impetus for improvements.
• You work in a structured, reliable manner and maintain an overview even in dynamic situations
