PART-TIME (less than 30 hours per week) Job

Job Summary:
The Accounting Manager will oversee and direct all travel accounting activities for NousTravel’s clients, independent contractors.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Manage the preparation and distribution of Independent Contractor statements and support.
• Process, reconcile and manage all travel accounting transactions and postings.
• Manages the accounting relationship with NousTravel’s independent contractors, to include but not limited to answering questions and resolving travel accounting requests.
• Manages the Travcom accounting system for new agents, clients, and vendors.
• Provide reporting and analysis as needed for both internal and external clients.
• Adheres to financial controls, ensuring accurate control and accounting of assets and accounts.
• Maintains knowledge of trends, developments, and best practices in the travel accounting profession; applies this knowledge to recommend and implement process and policy changes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Thorough understanding of cost accounting principles and procedures.

• Proficient with or able to quickly learn the accounting software used by the organization.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• At least five years of general accounting experience with at least two years working with Independent Travel Advisors

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
