Job summary
A global leader in biodecontamination is looking for a Field Service Technician to join their Life Science Biodecontamination Team. Candidates should have training as an electronics technician or similar, with a service-oriented approach and proficiency in German and English. The role involves significant travel across Germany and other DACH regions, advising clients on biodecontamination technologies and performing service projects. Ideal candidates will have excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.

To strengthen our Life Science team, we are looking for a committed person for a field service role as a:
As a Field Service Technician (m/f/d) for cleanrooms and biodecontamination, you will begin your assignments from our external warehouse in Fredersdorf-Vogelsdorf (near Berlin) or near Wurzburg and travel across Germany, and occasionally throughout Europe, to serve our pharmaceutical and biotech clients.
- Successfully completed training/apprenticeship as an electronics technician, mechatronics technician, communications technician, or a comparable qualification with electrical knowledge
- Initial experience as a service technician is desirable
- Service-oriented with a friendly demeanor
- Quick comprehension and good time management
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus
- Willingness to travel within Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, including overnight stays and occasional weekend/night shifts
- Advising customers on biodecontamination technologies, safety aspects, and microbiological requirements
- Supporting the planning and coordination of decontamination service projects
- Performing, installing, and following up on decontamination services for pharmaceutical and biotech clients (e.g., cleanroom fumigation)
- Identifying additional service needs during customer visits
- Ensuring compliance with STERIS safety and quality standards
- Maintaining and calibrating equipment
- Starting assignments from our Fredersdorf-Vogelsdorf or Wuerzburg warehouse or home office, with 80-100% travel in the DACH region
