Job summary
A leading language service provider in Berlin is seeking a Finnish junior freelance reviewer to assist in content localization using AI technologies. The ideal candidate must be a native Finnish speaker with a keen interest in machine translation and attention to detail. Responsibilities include reviewing and post-editing content generated by AI. This freelance position offers an hourly salary between €30 to €32, and candidates will be asked to complete a short linguistic skills test.

Finnish junior freelance reviewer with a penchant for AI technologies to help us in content localization in various domains and industries.

- Review content generated by machine translation in Finnish and post edit it according to the specified guidelines.
- Collaborate with other linguists to implement new AI technologies in content localization.
- Interest in working with machine translation and large language models
- Flexibility / Versatility : support all workflows from the new product framework open to testing new workflows and tools and provide constructive feedback on AI workflows
- Reliability / Attention to detail : thoroughly reading and following guidelines for different workflows to ensure the right quality
- Linguistic expertise : please apply only if you are a native Finnish speaker.
- CAT tools knowledge : general or specific CAT tool knowledge is a plus but we dont expect linguists to know them.
- MT experience : Prior knowledge about machine translation (MTPE) workflows is helpful but not a must. Openness to learn new technologies and workflows is more important.
- Proficiency in German is a plus.
Shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete a short test to assess their linguistic skills. The test will take between 30 minutes to 1 hour and will be carried out either in memoQ CAT tool or Word document depending on your your application please write a few sentences no more than a paragraph on why do you think you are right for this position and what you understand as being an AI linguist.
This is a freelance position and there is no interview step.
