A regulatory authority in Luxembourg is seeking an inspector for the Public Oversight of the Audit Profession. The role involves performing quality assurance reviews of authorized auditors and audit firms. Candidates are expected to have a statutory auditor qualification and relevant professional experience, particularly in private equity investment fund audits. Proficiency in both French and English is required, with German considered an asset. This is a full-time position under a permanent public employee contract.
Within the department “ Public oversight of the audit profession “, as an inspector, you will take part to the quality assurance reviews of réviseurs d’entreprises agréés and cabinets de revision agréés in Luxembourg
The successful candidate (m / f) will be hired as public employee (“employé de l’Etat”) under a permanent contract. If the candidate meets the required conditions, s / he will be asked to apply for admission to the status of civil servant (“fonctionnaire de l’Etat”).
Prior to the conclusion of the contract, the candidate must submit an extract from the criminal record (bulletin n°3), dated less than 2 months, in order to prove their conduct and integrity.
