Job summary
A leading consultancy firm in Germany is seeking an SAP Financials Specialist to facilitate FICO implementations. The role involves conducting detailed analyses of business needs, mapping requirements, and providing training to users and management. The ideal candidate will be experienced in SAP Financials, have strong analytical capabilities, and work independently as a subject matter mentor. Qualifications
- Experience with SAP Financials, specifically FICO Controlling.
- Strong analytical skills to understand complex business processes.
- Ability to document and validate customer requirements.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate implementation of SAP Financials focusing on FICO.
- Perform detailed analysis of business process requirements.
- Conduct workshops to gather business requirements.
- Facilitate implementation of SAP Financials (focus on FICO Controlling – Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis, Project System, Results Analysis, Unsettled Costs, Month End Close, Overhead assessment and settlement).
- Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions.
- Identify, interpret, validate and document customer requirements.
- Conduct workshops to collect business requirements.
- Map client business requirements, processes and objectives.
- Design, customize, configure and test FI/CO modules.
- Identify gaps, issues and provide appropriate solutions based on best practices.
- Document functional specifications, test and results.
- Prepare appropriate documentation – Business Blueprint / Business Requirements Documents, Business Process Master List, Fit-Gap Master List, Functional Specifications, Review Technical Specifications, Configuration documents, Test Cases & Record results, Training Materials, Data Migration templates (LTMC / LSMW), Support technical team by providing inputs for BAPI, BDCs for Data Migration, Prepare Cutover Checklist for Finance and ensure smooth cutover, Handover documents, Update Issue logs at regular intervals, etc.
- Provide training to the Business Users & Management team.
- Work self-directed and independently; may act as subject matter mentor to more junior members.
