We offer exciting projects at our renowned customer Airbus Operations, and we are looking for a motivated employee for the position "Buyer (m/f/d) Furnished Equipment Management Support".
Responsibilities:
- Lead, coordinate, and secure the End-to-End BFE management process from Customer HoV (Head of Version) Kick-Off Meeting until delivery of the last aircraft of the customized version.
- Ensure the on-time and on-quality releases of the BFE lists (Required Part Numbers, Quantities, Date and Place of Delivery) to secure Customer Purchase Orders aligned with aircraft delivery schedules.
- Secure timely BFE ordering by airline and/or lessor customers.
- Identify and assess commercial, contractual, certification, or industrial risks affecting development, supply, or quality of BFE products, and implement mitigation actions in collaboration with relevant functions, escalating as necessary.
- Ensure timely and quality deliveries of BFEs, supporting Airbus Engineering and FAL teams for HoV and rebuilds.
- Monitor supplier performance and provide weekly reports on BFE development projects.
- Manage or contribute to strategic projects aimed at improving BFE management.
Your Profile:
- Completed studies in aircraft construction, engineering, supply chain, or a comparable field.
- More than three years of professional experience in supplier management, aerospace, or supply chain management.
- More than two years of experience in product development.
- Good knowledge of project management and risk management.
- Familiarity with Taksy/Gesy/Tesy.
- Proficient in Google Workspace.
- Proficient in German; knowledge of French or Spanish is an advantage.
