A modern commerce platform is seeking an engineer to design and build autonomous AI agents that enhance digital experiences for brands. The ideal candidate has strong TypeScript skills and experience with frameworks like Next.js. You will shape AI functionalities, evaluate new technologies, and work directly with company founders. This fully remote role provides a collaborative environment focused on flexibility, autonomy, and impactful contributions.
Laioutr is the Frontend Management Platform for modern commerce teams. We enable brands to operate hundreds of storefronts, ship content updates instantly, and roll out conversion-driving improvements without relying on agencies or large development teams.
AI Agents (“Larry’s Friends”) that execute repetitive tasks autonomously, from content creation to layout adjustments, UX improvements, and analytics-driven actions.
To build this AI layer, we’re searching for an engineer who can blend LLM engineering with product thinking.
You will design and build the AI Agents inside Laioutr—autonomous systems that create, validate, analyze, and automate tasks across components, content, and markets. Your work will define how hundreds of brands operate their digital experiences.
You will build the entire AI layer of a real product, not just isolated features.
