A leading renewable energy firm is looking for a motivated student for a Werkstudent position focused on artificial intelligence and renewable energy. This role involves developing solutions for environmental impact assessments related to wind farm projects. Candidates should be enrolled in university, have programming skills in Python, and be fluent in French. The position offers attractive compensation and flexible working arrangements.
We are looking for a motivated student with a passion for artificial intelligence and renewable energy for a 5- to 6-month Werkstudent position. You will actively contribute to the development of an AI solution designed to fundamentally improve the planning of wind farm projects – specifically by structuring scientific findings and practical experience for targeted application in development projects.
This internship offers you a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of two forward-looking fields: AI and renewable energy. You will help develop a solution that could automate environmental impact assessments and make projects more efficient and environmentally friendly.
Your tasks:Analyze the requirements and specifics of environmental impact assessments for renewable energy projects in France
Build a database that integrates external studies and analyses related to baseline environmental conditions
Develop and implement AI-based solutions to support the drafting of environmental impact assessment reports
Collaborate with technical and operational teams to ensure the relevance and accuracy of data and analyses
Test and validate the developed solutions in terms of effectiveness and compliance with regulatory standards

Work on a real project: You will be involved in all phases of the project – from needs analysis to implementation and validation – and actively contribute to its success.
You are currently enrolled at a university and are passionate about AI and its applications for climate and sustainability
You have knowledge in machine learning, NLP, and/or data science
You are familiar with programming languages such as Python
You enjoy working independently, take initiative, and like collaborating in interdisciplinary teams
Ideally, you have an interest in environmental and energy-related topics
Fluency in French is required; English is a plus
