A leading European organisation in the mobility and smart infrastructure industry is seeking a freelance Data Analyst to strengthen its growing data and analytics capability. The company operates large-scale digital platforms supporting connected parking, mobility, and urban services across multiple markets. This role will play a key part in transforming operational and customer data into actionable insights that guide business and product strategy.

• Serve as a data subject matter expert, partnering with product and business teams to translate strategic needs into analytical and reporting requirements.

• Collaborate closely with data engineers to design and implement scalable data models that support business objectives.

• Work hands-on in Databricks using Python, PySpark, and SQL to explore, transform, and analyze large datasets.

• Build high-quality, interactive dashboards and reports in Tableau and Power BI, ensuring exceptional design, performance, and user experience.

• Champion data quality, validation, and documentation to maintain reliable and consistent analytics across the organisation.

• Conduct ad-hoc analyses and deliver insights that influence product development, customer understanding, and operational decision-making.

• Collaborate cross-functionally to standardise KPIs, metrics, and data definitions across departments.

• Continuously improve analytical workflows and contribute to the organisation's evolving data-driven culture.

• Work with digital analytics tools such as Mixpanel and CleverTap to support A/B testing, product insights, and customer engagement analytics.

• 3-6 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics engineering.

• Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical data solutions and actionable insights.

• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and collaboration with data engineering teams.

• Proficiency in Python, PySpark, and SQL, with hands-on experience in Azure Databricks.

• Expertise in Tableau and Power BI, including dashboard development, performance optimization, and visual storytelling.

• Deep understanding of data visualization principles and experience delivering clear, insightful, and visually compelling dashboards.

• Familiarity with A/B testing platforms such as Mixpanel or CleverTap.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with keen attention to detail and data integrity.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to present complex data in a clear, accessible way.

• Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, agile environment.
