This role is remote for candidates based in the DACH region, with occasional travel to our offices as agreed.

Head of Sales, DACH

Own growth in Autouncle's most critical market.

The dealership industry is undergoing a profound shift, as digitalisation and margin pressure force dealership groups to rethink how they attract, convert, and retain customers.

That's exactly why this role matters.

At Autouncle, we help dealership groups navigate the shift toward a more digital, data-driven commercial model - with profitability as the anchor.

We strengthen dealers' ability to attract and convert demand through their own digital channels, often doubling the number of high-quality leads coming from their websites.

The result is clear: lower cost per lead, faster inventory turnover, and stronger margins.

Today, more than 40 of the top 100 dealership groups in DACH already trust us. The next chapter is about scaling that impact with focus, discipline, and strong leadership.

We're hiring a Head of Sales to own that chapter.

  • Location: Hamburg or remote within DACH
  • Reports to: CEO
  • Type: Full-time

What You'll Lead
  • Own the commercial performance of the DACH region
  • Build, develop, and scale a strong, ambitious sales team of Key Account Managers
  • Lead pipeline creation, deal execution, and structured sales planning across the region (field-sales, video meetings, industry events)
  • Coach your team through customer conversations and deal strategy
  • Maintain high standards for activity, CRM hygiene, and accountability
  • Act as regional ambassador at industry events and strategic forums

This is a hands‑on leadership role where you set the standard, lead from the front, and create the conditions for your team to succeed.

What You'll Focus on First
  • Conducting 1:1s, ride‑alongs, and in‑person meetings to understand your team and customers
  • Refining our sales pitch and shaping how we communicate value in the DACH market
  • Mapping and activating high‑potential dealership groups
  • Strengthening the team with well‑chosen hires and solid onboarding
  • Personally closing at least one strategic account and directly intervening to prevent at least one high‑risk churn
Qualifications
  • Proven sales leadership experience in the automotive/mobility sector or a related digital/tech environment
  • Deep understanding of dealership economics and operations
  • Experience selling to dealership groups and working directly with decision‑makers
  • Track record of hiring, developing, and, when necessary, letting go of salespeople
  • Ability to work independently in a fast‑moving environment
  • Comfortable balancing leadership with hands‑on execution
  • Natural coaching instincts and a habit of joining customer conversations when it matters most
