A leading social impact organization is seeking a Head of Communications based in Berlin. In this full-time hybrid role, you will lead the German Marketing & Communications team by overseeing high-impact storytelling and engaging with influential media. The ideal candidate has over 10 years of experience in corporate communications and a strong network in the media landscape. This position offers a competitive salary of up to 114,000 EUR annually, with an expected presence in the office 2-3 days weekly.

As a key member of our Marketing & Communications Team, you’ll lead the development of Change.org’s overarching brand & media strategy, oversee high-impact storytelling, top-tier media engagement, and a network of influential relationships to civil society & politics.

This role is based in Berlin. This is a full-time hybrid role, where we expect you to be in the Berlin office 2‑3 days per week, with flexibility to work remotely for the rest of the week.
Our compensation philosophy is based on pay equity. All of our salaries are determined before we launch a role – they are based on a predetermined salary scale, the level on that scale and the cost of labour for that location. We are open to three different levels of seniority for this role (Senior Manager, Associate Director, Director). The annual salary of an Associate Director of Communications is 114.000 EUR in Berlin.
