POLYVANTIS is a leading global supplier of high-quality acrylic and polycarbonate films and sheets with 1,500 employees and 15 production sites worldwide. Our products are used in applications including stadium roofing, facade glazing, LED lighting, signage, machine guards, and more. This role can be located at our site in Weiterstadt, Germany or Bergen op Zoom, Netherlands.
What you will do
- Daily cash actions: cash and liquidity optimization and daily cash forecasting
- Intercompany funding: approve and transfer cash between company bank accounts to maintain adequate liquidity across the business
- Review and implement intercompany funding requirements
- Trade finance support: facilitate and handle trade finance requests with banking partners (e.g., letters of credit, payment confirmations)
- Cash investments: invest excess cash with support from banking partners
- Operational FX trading to maintain balances in required currencies
- Ensure regulatory compliance for treasury activities (KYC and related requirements)
- Cash collection and management infrastructure development across the business
- Liquidity management including cash flow modelling, funding support and cash pooling strategies
- Short-term cash forecasting up to 3 months
- Operational risk management: implement policies and processes to mitigate treasury-related risks
- Maintenance of treasury systems and electronic banking tools
- Support Head of Treasury on projects to improve current workflows
- Payments: review, approval and processing of payments (including intercompany)
- Administration: manage bank accounts and relationships within the jurisdiction of operations
- Processing of front-office transactions: financing, investments, FX contracts, guarantees
- Accounting of treasury transactions; maintenance of market data and master data
Who we are seeking
- University degree in finance and accounting or equivalent treasury-focused degree
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience in finance, including at least 3 years in treasury
- Knowledge of treasury operations and cash management in an international organization
- Familiarity with treasury policies, procedures and best practices
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of SAP S/4HANA
- General understanding of TIS and Corima systems (an added advantage)
- Strong stakeholder management, people skills, and interpersonal abilities
- Good communication and presentation skills; fluency in English
- Experience working in virtual teams
