Strategy PMO Manager (m/f/d)

The Strategy Project Management Office (PMO) works closely with the management on the planning and execution of the PALFINGER Group Strategy as well as cross-functional strategic programs and projects in Bergheim (Salzburg) . A focus will be on establishing and maintaining the related PMO.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Guide and support project teams in creating project chartas and implementing and monitoring strategic programs with clear goals and timelines
• Consolidate the monthly program updates into a Group Strategy Portfolio Report and present to Senior Management and lead the Project Management Office (PMO) for selected projects
• Critically review program updates and monitor the overall progress of the strategic programs and collect and analyze data to support situation analysis and informed decision-making
• Evaluate and improve existing processes and performance monitoring mechanisms (financial and non-financial)
• Promote the use of project management standards and tools across CSS (Corporate Strategy Sustainability) and identify areas for improvement

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a commercial or technical field
• Approximately 5 years of relevant experience in project management, ideally in an international setting
• Project management certification, preferably based on PMI (Project Management Institute) standards
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills with a hands-on mindset
• Fluent in German and English

Minimum yearly gross salary according to Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 59.766,98 based on full-time employment. According to experience and qualification, we offer a market-conform overpayment.
